Viewings and Registration
+ How do I arrange a viewing?
If you are interested in booking a viewing, we advise you to book early as our viewing spaces fill up very quickly! Contact us via email with the age of your child, a rough start date you had in mind and your preferred days/sessions. We will contact you to let you know our viewing availabilities and arrange a date. Please note, we are only able to offer morning viewings during the week as the majority of our children sleep at lunchtime/early afternoon and it is too disruptive to them to have visitors. We do however hold regular Open Viewing mornings at the weekend. Head on over to our events section to find out when the next one is being held.
+ How long will the viewing last?
Viewings typically last up to an hour
+ What will the viewing entail?
The viewing will involve a guided tour around the whole nursery by the Owner and Manager, Susan. You will be told about how the nursery operates, some of the key features of our provision as well as an idea of availability. You will have an opportunity to meet some of the team as well as to ask as many questions/share as much information as you need in order to ascertain if we are the right place for you and your child.
+ Do I need to bring anything?
Just your lovely selves and little ones!
+ How do I register my child at the nursery?
Once you have viewed the nursery and decided that it is the place for you and your child, we would be delighted to register your child at the nursery. You will be given a registration pack during your viewing session that will need to be completed in order to begin the registration process. We also ask for a non-returnable administration payment of £50 at the point of registration. Once we have received your completed registration forms, you will be sent a confirmation letter confirming your place and kindly asking for a deposit. Once we have received your deposit, your place will be secured and we will confirm a start date.
+ How much deposit do I need to pay?
Deposits are calculated at two week's fees based upon your requested weekly sessions. Please note, your deposit does not form part of your first month's fees; it is in addition to.
+ When will my deposit be returned?
Your deposit will be returned at the point of departure from the nursery. It will only be returned once 4 weeks notice is given. We reserve the right to retain the deposit if 4 weeks notice of termination of contract is not given.
+ Can I register my child over the phone?
We do not take registrations over the phone. We feel that choosing the right nursery for you and your child is such an important decision that we insist on arranging a viewing prior to registration. It is a great opportunity for you to make an informed decision about whether or not we are the right fit for you and your family.
+ How early in advance should I register my child?
Demand for places is exceptionally high and we are in some cases booking spaces for children 2 years in advance! We would advise you to register an interest as soon as you have decided we are the place for you, even if you are unsure of exact days/sessions.
+ When can my child start?
During your viewing session, you will be given an idea of availability and whether or not you will need to go on a waiting list. This should give you an idea of when your child will be able to start. Upon confirmation of your registration, you will be given a precise start date. We recommend that you and your child attends a settling in session(s) prior to your child's start date in order to share important information regarding the care of your child and also to help them become more familiar and comfortable with the nursery surroundings. We advise that your child's settling in session is arranged for no more than 2 weeks prior to their start date.
